$MINE is the governance token of SpaceMine. The entire ecosystem will be built around rewarding $MINE holders. More details on how $MINE ties into each of our planet will be released in future articles.
The total supply of $MINE is 96,000.
- 70% of all $MINE will be distributed via liquidity mining.
- 10% will vest to the development team, linearly over 6 months.
- 10% will vest to SpaceMine Treasury, this portion will be locked until community governance has been enabled.
- 8.33% will be distributed in a white-listed presale.
- 1.67% will be minted for initial Uniswap liquidity.
Once 50% of $MINE has been distributed via liquidity mining, we will enabled community governance on SpaceMine. $MINE holders can propose and vote on platform parameters such as distribution rate and yield allocations. And once the platform has reached a sufficient size and the community stabilized, we will give the community full control over the governance of new strategies, deprecation of old ones, as well as the deployment of treasury funds.
